Obituary of Joseph W. Ragone
Joseph W. Ragone, 50, of Sewell, NJ passed away unexpectedly on January 13, 2020. Known for his larger-than-life personality and contagious smile, his greatest joy was spending time with his family. Joe was a long-time member of the Gloucester County Community Church and lived out his faith by serving in many ministries, including serving as Commander Joe for the boys of Royal Rangers. Joe always had a heart for those who were struggling and in the last two years led a ministry serving that community specifically. Joe graduated from Victory Christian High School in Williamstown, attended the University of Maryland and worked professionally as a telecommunications broker. He had an adventurous spirit, and there was no project he could not solve. One of his favorite lines was, “We’ll figure out something!” Joe loved camping and the outdoors. He had a passion for cooking and barbecuing for family and friends, whether it was in the kitchen, by the pool, at the lake or for an entire camp. He was a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles and 76ers fan and loved watching and going to games with his family.

Joseph is survived by his wife Kelly (McCormick) Ragone and is the loving father of Tyler, Marisa & Jack Ragone; beloved son of Donna (Wray) Ragone and also Edmund & his wife, JoAnn Ragone; dear brother-in-law of Maureen & Jeff Merighi and Bruce McCormick; and proud uncle of Dominick, Daniel & Lucas Merighi.
