Dear Mrs. Ferrari,
Please accept my condolences for the loss of your husband and my apology for not being at the services. I was called early that morning for a patient emergency. I am sorry to hear about your loss. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to meet and talk to my Great Uncle Arthur this summer at the family reunion. He was a wonderful man! You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless!

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family always, but especially now. We did not spend much time together but I know how much you meant to your family and to my brother, Larry. He knew your love and respected you. You were a father to him and have left him with many good memories and examples. I thank you for that. Those memories will forever be in his heart. May your family find comfort in their memories and in knowing that your love still surrounds them.

Being not only related by the marraige, of my brother to your daughter. you have always treated us as family. Making us feel as much a part of your family as your own children. spending many special family times with you, i have grown to respect and love you. Now as life moves you to the next level may you live in our hearts and in our memories with even more love and respect. Gospel of John, Chapter 3, verse 16. may you know that verse in all of its fullness.
Having everlasting life.

Having lived in Southern California since 1981, I was not able to grow up in the east and spend time with my great uncles and great aunts of the Ferrari family. But, last summer, I was able to visit with my great Uncle Arthur in New Jersey at a much needed family reunion. I am not too familiar with his life, but knowing that he fought for the freedom of the United States and other countries during WWII makes me extremely proud to have him as my great uncle. I know that I am grateful and privileged to have known him before his passing. I know that he is with God and now. He will be in my prayers.
