Obituary of Barbara Jane Daugherty

Barbara Jane Daugherty (Geserick), age 71, of Wenonah, NJ passed away peacefully on January 29, 2020. 

Family

Barbara was the loving wife of 52 & ½ years to Richard Daugherty and the beloved mother of Richard Daugherty, Jr.  and Mollie Schanne & her husband William. She is the dear sister of James Geserick, Cynthia Watson, Lawrence Geserick and the late Edward Geserick, Jr., David Geserick and Thomas Geserick.  Barbara leaves behind numerous loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Legacy

She loved quilting & sewing and was very active at her church, the First Presbyterian Church of Woodbury Heights and was a long time member of the Board of Session, the Women’s Association and the Prime Timers group.  She worked at Rainbow Days Christian Nursery School at the First Presbyterian Church in Merchantville for over 20 years. Her family will remember her as the family historian and she will be sorely missed by all who know her.

 Visitation will be held on Monday from 9 am to 11 am, February 3, 2020 at the First Presbyterian Church of Woodbury Hts., 335 Elm Avenue, Woodbury Hts., NJ, where her Funeral Service will begin at 11 am.  Interment will follow at Pennsburg United Church Cemetery, 775 Main Street, Pennsburg, PA.
