Mom loved to dance. Night after night I would dance Mom from her chair to the stairs. It is one of my fondest memories. When Mom first became sick with cancer and she could not walk, she could still move her hips as if she were dancing and we could dance with her from her chair to the bed.

My memory of Jean Bell is from Christmas of 2001. We were in the convent kitchen carrying on while cooking. Joyce and her Mom arrived for prayer and dinner. We turned up the music and Jean took turns with us dancing to "Jingle Bell Rock." Time stood still as we all laughed and danced in the kitchen on Christmas Day.

My thoughts and prayers continue to be
with the Bell family. What I will always remember about Mrs. Bell was her
gentle smile.

Mom loved ice cream and any occasion for the family to gather.
For years her favorite restaurant was Friendly's. Even after alzheimer's robbed her of her precious memories, she could still be enticed with a cup of hand-dipped chocolate ice cream.
