Obituary of Geraldine A. McBride

McBride, Geraldine A., Nee Murphy of National Park, NJ on Dec. 15 after a long battle with illness. Aged 62 years. Geraldine worked as a bookkeeper for various companies including First Pennsylvania Bank, Philadelphia Rag Ce., Side Water Recycling Co., Rib-It Restaurant and Addison Realty. She enjoyed dealing and collecting antiques with Tom, Sr., playing bingo with her friends and spending time in Wildwood with her family. Despite being an only child, Gerry never felt isolated because she had her confidant Virginia "Ginny" Puca by her side. In 1957 Gerry met a gentleman named Thomas McBride whom she married in 1959. Six years later they lovingly had two children, the eldest son Thomas James McBride and four years later James Thomas McBride. Gerry was blessed with a daughter-in-law Amy and three grandchildren, Adam, Megan and Bridget. Gerry loved her family and friends very much. Geraldine Gerry, Mom, Grandmother aka Fuzz, is loved very dearly. We will miss her and wish her a peaceful Christmas in Heaven. Beloved wife of Thomas J. Sr. Devoted mother of Thomas J., Jr. and his wife Amy, and James T. and special friend Kimberly Bennett. Loving grandmother of Adam, Megan and Bridget. Lifelong friend of Virginia and Anthony Puca.
