Carmichael , Dale L. of Bellmawr, formerly of Pompano Beach Florida. On December 6, 2002 aged 95 years. Beloved Husband of Johanna nee-Valkusky Father of Jerry Carmichael & Shirley Joan Kempe of Indianapolis In, Nancy Hoover of Bellmawr NJ & Walter Williams of Washington D.C. and the late Carol Adams. Brother of Dorothy Reiss , Donald Carmichael , Maxine Pfeiffer of Columbus In. Luvena Higgins of Shelbyville In , Ruth Deaver of Speedway In. , Shirley Nicholson & Keith Carmichael of Venice Fl. Grandfather of 12 great Grandfather of 21. Born in Shirley Illinois and raised in Columbus Indiana . Dale worked for the R.C.A. Corporation in Indianapolis and Camden NJ for over 30 years. He was a member of the Laurel Lodge #237 of Somerdale. After receiving an Iowa State teacher?s certificate Dale taught two years at Stanhope, Iowa at a one-room schoolhouse that had grades 1 through 8. Fifty-four years later teachers and pupils held a reunion at Harmony Center School when the schoolhouse was moved to a pioneer type village at a local park. Cremation will be private.
