Obituary of Marjorie J. Harvey

Harvey, Marjorie J. died Nov. 29, 2002 in Hickory, NC after battling Alzheimer?s for many years. She was born July 13, 1925 to Edward and Lillian Harker Howey in Woodbury, NJ and attended local schools, graduating from Woodbury High School in 1943. Marjorie married Edward J. Harvey Dec. 5, 1944. They lived in Westville most of their married life, raising three children and working for an ophthalmologist, Dr. George Booth, for 18 years. Marjorie enjoyed her family, boating, camping and getting together with friends. They moved to Palm Bay, Fl, after retirement and lived there 16 years, later moving near their daughter in Hickory, NC. Mrs. Harvey was predeceased by her parents and three siblings, Ann Patterson of Flemington, NJ, Robert Howey of Hawaii, and Edward Howey of Woodbury. Survivors include her husband of Hickory, NC, two daughters, Marjorie Kinney and her husband, Sumner of Thomaston, Maine, Nancy Lisk and her husband Charles of Vale, NC and a son, Robert Harvey and his wife Donna, of Brigantine, NJ. She has eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Memorial Mass Tuesday 11 AM in St. Patrick?s RC Church, 64 Cooper St., Woodbury where relatives and friends may call after 10 AM. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Alzheimer?s Assoc. of South Jersey, 11000 Lincoln Dr. W Ste 7, Marlton, NJ 08053.
