My deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Paul Elton. He will be missed by all.
I was fortunate to be aquainted with Mr. Elton at Collingswood High School in the early '70s. While I did not have him in class, he was our athletic trainer and I worked with him on the school plays. Many a week he would patch me up so I could play in the next contest. He was a friend of all the students and a great guy and I know he positively influenced many people along the way.
I wanted to share one timeless story. I was one of the Boys, at the time, who helped him and his wife move, I believe it was the early spring of '74. He recruited the football players and wretslers, he knew who could handle it. As token of gratitude he gave me several Pine tree seedlings. I planted them in my parents yard in Collingswood. Two of them took and they are very tall today, probably 30 feet high! Every time I visit, I see those trees and I think of that day we moved. It was fun, and I don't think we broke anything.
Best wishes to all during this trying time.
Sincerely,
Patrick J. Callaghan

May God guide you through this very difficult period. I knew Paul while we were both attending GSC 1963-67. Paul was not just a nice person, but was also a pleasure to be around due to his personality.
He is now with his beloved daughter in the arms of Our Lord. May he rest in peace. And may the peace of the Lord be with you, his family.

I thank God that I had Mr. Elton as a shop teacher. He guided me on the straight and correct path. I hope I am as good a teacher as Mr. Elton was at Colls. He called me on Christmas Eve to see how I was after my heart attack and he visited me while I did a presentation in AC at the teachers convention two years ago. I didn't know how to express myself after the death of his lovely daughter. I must tell his family that he was special to me Mr. Elton was a great guy and I will miss him very much.
Love to his family.
