I am deeply saddend by the death of my cousin Linda. I havent seen her in 20-30 years. She grew up in NJ where I was also born. We moved away when I was only 4 years old.
I do remember going back for visits and seeing her. Her dad had this big HUGE St. Bernhard dog named Bernie, after my father. I can recall being in the back yard playing with this HUGE animal, but the sweetest dog ever.
I send my prayers to you her children. that you are not sad by her death. I pray that you will find peace in your hearts to remember your Mother is watching over you, always.

I was there in Chincoteague when Linda was born, being stationed on the Naval Base with her father. George and Linda lived on the base in a cute little house in the housing area. George and I served several years together in Naval Aviation, he being a mechanic and I an electronics technician. I often went over to their house after work. One Christmas I had a stiff drink, celebrating the holiday before going on watch and I thought I would freeze to death out walking around the aircraft in the middle of the night. The alcohol did not warm me at all.
I am sorry you have lost your mother, especially at such an early age. May God bless you and keep you.
Bernhard Bernie Cohen and wife Roberta, Thurmont, Maryland
