Mike and my son met in an unusual way in Hurffville Elementary in the 2nd grade. From that day on they were buddies all the way up to HS Graduation and including JROTC. The 1st time I met Mike was 6/7 yrs ago at another one of their friends passing. Every since that day he called me Mom. I used to be Chairperson for the WTHS Spring PTO Craft show. JROTC always helped out and I knew Mike would be there to help every time. Always so giving of himself. I always said he is a Teddy Bear with a sweet heart. That makes this that much harder. Sean, Matthew and I are so broken hearted. Watch over us and enjoy life and love with the Angels in Heaven. We will always miss you Mike "Son".

I just found out about Michael’s passing the other day, and I am so sorry for your loss. I was his Kindergarten teacher many years ago. I was actually thinking about him the other day for some reason and then I learned about this news and was so heartbroken. I sure hope he is enjoying his favorite food that he would always talk about (which back then was king crab legs) up in heaven and is laughing his joyful belly laugh with all the angels. Some kids you just don’t forget and Michael was one of them ❤️
May he Rest In Peace.

I have way too many memories with Mike he was my brother I've known him since he was in second grade I lived with him and his family I've spent countless hours hanging out with him and I can't tell you how many laughs we had or fights we had either but one moment stands out it was the first day I met him he gave me so many toys and games just because I liked them and the next day me him and my cousin slept over and it's history from there I miss you bro I really do rest easy big guy Kyle

I remember playing football with Michael my freshman and sophomore year while he was a junior and a senior. As a bigger guy myself, Mike and I got along pretty well and related to plenty of things. I will never forget how kind and friendly he was the first time i met him in the locker room. Or all the jokes he would be cracking while we were praying for coach not to say “on the line” at the end of practice. Or how nice of a person he was to everyone else he encountered. He was just a kid, who didn’t put on a facade for anyone. He was always his own type of person no matter what. He always seemed like such a joyful person, who was prepared for anything coming his way. Which is why it breaks my heart to see him gone from this world now. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Pardo family and any other friends and relatives. Rest in Peace Pardo. We love ya big guy.
