Obituary of Helen Forte

Forte, Helen nee Scardigli of Blackwood, NJ on November 9, 2002. Age 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Sam. Devoted mother of James and his wife Kim of Blackwood, NJ. Loving sister of Rita Cannuli of Philadelphia, PA and Gloria Macanga of Williamstown, NJ. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Helen was born in Philadelphia, PA and later moved to South Jersey. She was a devoted parishioner of St. Jude?s R.C. Church for many years. Helen was active in the Blackwood Sons of Italy, St. Jude?s Prayer Group, Ss. Peter & Paul Prayer Group, and volunteered for St. John of God Community in Westville Grove. She would like to be remembered as a loving woman, good mother, mother-in-law, devoted aunt, sister and sister-in-law. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation, Sunday evening 6:30 to 9 PM and Monday morning after 8:15 AM in the McGuinness Washington Twp. Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Washington Twp. Mass of Chrisian Burial 10 AM in St. Jude?s R. C. Church, Blackwood. Interment New Saint Mary?s Cemetery, Bellmawr.
