When Joe and I and Lee and Lorraine were married, Mom told us that she no longer had one daughter; she now had three. We felt her love and motherly support throughout our married life.
Her husband Leon and her children and grandchildren were the love of her life and we will all be forever grateful to have had these "extra" twelve years with her. The gift of extra time enabled her to see the marriages of three grandchildren, the birth of four great grandchildren and her son's ordination as a deacon. Living with Sandy and Jim, she was able to watch four of her grandsons grow up and she and Dad were a wonderful, nurturing, positive force in their lives. Her life and her faith were a gift to celebrate.
