None of us know "why" this had to be. Someday we will. We can only offer the family and friends our prayers at this time that God will give them the strength to get thru this terrible loss. Al is in a better place and there will be no more suffering. To Vicki...please know that Suzy and I are there for you and to try to remember all the good times that you, Maryanne, Chip and Al had together.

I will always remember how Al's smile lit up a room. He was always willing to help others and had a kind heart. My brother and Al were very close & I know he will be missed by all of those who knew him. For each of us, he has a special place in our hearts and will not soon be forgotten. I pray that his mom, Vicky & his family can find peace in knowing that he is with our Lord and at peace.

I have been lucky enough to have known Al for the past 16 years. My fondest memories include times spent in our late teens just driving around in his Camaro with other friends, going to parties, the New Year's Parade, concerts, etc. I will also treasure the many "double dates" Al, Vicki, Chip, and I went on. We always had fun together. I had a great respect for Al's giving nature, and also his tremendous talent as a carpenter. Any time you had home/construction questions, you knew Big Al would have the answers, and he would be the first to offer to lend a hand. I will miss him terribly, as I know many will, but I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to know him and to call him my friend.
