Marian you know how much the sudden loss of Jim has affected Joe & I. We always enjoyed being in your company as we shared so many likes and even dislikes. Of course, it helped we were all Irish Catholics and each family had 5 grown children and numerous grandchildren to brag about. Joe and Jim could always enjoy talking sports of any kind and reminiscing over Woodbury graduates and athletes while you and I enjoyed our girl talk and sharing our grandchildren stories.
We always knew that we both were blessed with such loving and caring families.
How I will miss calling your home and Jim answering the phone as he often did. I would always ask him how he was and his answer was always in his calm voice
"I don't know, Marian hasn't told me yet!" I always took this as his special way of letting me know how much he knew how you took such good care of him. I witnessed your special caring each time we were together. I only hope I could do the same if it becomes necessary. You were an inspirational couple to all who knew you. We will miss Jim terribly but will always cherish our memories. We love you and will be there for you whenever possible.

We are sorry to hear of Mr. "E"'s passing. He was as fine a gentle-
man one could ever meet. I personally never saw him angry though I'm sure Tommy and I gave him reasons a plenty. Dawn and I would like to share one memory of "Gentile Jim". We were at Jimmy & Diane's house playing charades. Though he didn't get angry, Mr "E" was quite fustrated none of us got his lampshade routine. That was quite amusing. Oh how we miss those times and will always cherish them. We love you guys and are so sorry we haven't kept in touch.
May God comfort your aching hearts with His love,
Frog & Dawn

Paula Joan Green posted a condolence

I grew up next door to the Ehrmanns in Brooklawn. I was remembering recently about how Jim would always call me Paula Joan or Miss Paula on his way in and out of the house. He was a quiet man who at times seemed larger than life.
My prayers and thoughts are with the family at this time. Love, Paula.
