Obituary of Peter J. Cusintine
Peter J. Cusintine, of Appleton, Maine formerly of Westville & Blackwood, suddenly on Oct. 11, 2002. Aged 82 years.
Prior to retirement in 1974, Pete worked as an iron worker for Cornell, Inc., Woodbury for 25 years.
He was a US Army-Aircorps Vet of WWII, serving in the 57th Bombing Wing, 489th Squadron, where he received an Air Medal w/ 2 Oak Leaf Clusters, Distinguished Flying Cross & Unit Badge, EAME Service and Good Conduct Medals.
He was a member of the America Legion Post and the Riehl West Hunting Lodge, Appleton, Maine.
In his spare time he enjoyed hunting & fishing.
Husband of Alma nee Newcomb, devoted father of Deborah Leo of Maine and Sandra C. Harasym & her husband Leon of Williamstown, loving grandfather of Lisa, Scott & Jame and great grandfather of Greyden & Caitlyn.
Funeral service Fri. 11 AM in the McGuinness Washington Twp. Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Rd., Washington Twp., NJ where friends may call after 9 AM.
Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ.
