I remember card games till 3:00 A.M. in the kitchen at Mr. & Mrs. Schliep's house way back when we were really young. I remember Mary Jane not wanting to cook "Tongue" for dinner because it would smell up the house and it was Beth's prom night she cooked it anyway. I remember watching the he-men build a patio more like a rocket lauch pad on Carver Street. I remember Bill being astounded the first time he and Al played golf; Al drove the ball farther with one arm than Bill could drive it with two. Most of all I remember Al presenting me with Chrismas decorations that I still use. He carved reindeer in his garage and we will use them every Christmas and remember him. I'm so glad he came to Philadelphia, met Mary Jane and became our friend and part of our life.
We will miss him very much.
