Obituary of Henry J. McLaughlin

Henry J. McLaughlin, 86, of Clarksboro, New Jersey, passed away, surrounded by his loving family on Friday, February 21, 2020.

Legacy

A strong willed man, Henry was devoted to his family.  A true outdoorsman, Henry was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved to tend to his garden.  He shared his home grown tomatoes with all who knew him.

Born in Gloucester City, NJ, Henry was a resident of Clarksboro 50 years.  He was a United States Navy Veteran who served from 1950 - 1954 during the Korean Conflict.  After his military service, he was a meat cutter at ACME and retired after 35 years..

Family

Beloved husband of Frances D. (nee Roberts) McLaughlin; loving father of Kathleen (David) Winslow, Margaret Gindhart, John  McLaughlin, Jane (Jerry) Stone, Joseph (Peggy) McLaughlin and Patrick McLaughlin; cherished grandfather of 13 and great grandfather of 5.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Henry's visitation on Thursday, 10:00 - 10:45 AM at the Catholic Community of the Holy Spirit at Holy Name of Jesus RC Church, 17 Earlington Avenue, Mullica Hill, NJ 08062  where the Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM.  Interment and Military Honors at Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ.

 In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Henry's name to the Church at the above address.
