Obituary of Sabia V. Varquez

Sabia Varquez of Deptford, NJ, daughter of Gerald and Margaret Leva, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at the age of 78. Sandy was a devoted mother and grandmother, instilling in her family a constant sense of joy and love. She is survived by her three children, Carleen Ashworth (Ron), Frank Thomas Shicatano (Lori) and Cynthia Brandt. Sandy was a dear sister to Jerome Leva, Robert Leva (Cass), and Marguerite Leva (deceased). She was also a loving grandmother to Peter, Alexa, Nicholas, Kristen and Amberlyn. Sandy’s legacy and impact lives on in her many friends and family members.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Wednesday, March 4, 2020, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM followed by a Mass at Infant Jesus Parish at St. Margaret Church, 845 Third Street, Woodbury Heights, NJ 08097.
