Obituary of Donna M. Young

Donna M. Young (nee Greenstreet), of Woodbury, New Jersey, passed away on Saturday, February 29, 2020. She was 63.

Legacy

Donna was a graduate of the 1974 class of Maple Shade High School. She never found a book she couldn’t read and if you started playing music from her childhood, good luck trying to stop her from dancing. She was a loving woman with a big heart, known to help anyone who needed her. Her food satisfied hundreds and her crocheted blankets kept them warm. Always willing to open her home to those with nowhere else to go, Donna was regarded by many as a second mother to them. Donna will be missed dearly and the knowledge she shared over the years will continue to be passed on for generations to come.

Family

She is the loving mother to Tyler Young, of Lake Butler, FL, dear sister to Brian Greenstreet of Woodbury, Michelle West of Lake Butler. FL and Sheila Leys of Wesley Chapel, FL. Donna is also survived by her husband, Thomas Young Jr. of Shelbyville, TN; her stepchildren, Thomas Young III, Devin Young, Mariko Young, Miyumi Young and many step grandchildren and extended family.

Donna is predeceased by her parents Henry and Doris Greenstreet, brother in law Donald West, brother in law Christopher Young, father in law Thomas Young, and first husband Albert Kyle.

Farewell Tribute

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
