Obituary of Loretta A Shields

Loretta A. Shields, at the age of 77, passed away March 4, 2020.  She was a resident of Westville, NJ.

Legacy

She loved everything about life, especially her family.  Everyone called her Mrs. Claus during the holidays.  She was a very crafty woman, she crocheted everything under the sun and always had a book on her lap.  One of her favorite things was girls beach days, with her toes in the sand and a magazine in her hand.  She always had a kind word and a smile on her face. 

Family

Loretta is the beloved wife of 61 cherished years to Richard Shields; devoted mother to the late Richard Shields and his wife Faith, Rhonda Shields (Kevin) and Joseph Shields (Gwen); loving grandmother to her favorite grandchildren Samantha, Ronald, Ashely, Casey Rose, Matthew and Katelyn; devoted great grandmother to Mackenzie, Kaden, Mason and Jase; spiritual sister to Barbara.   Loretta is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Loretta is predeceased by her parents Francis and Rosina (nee DiMuzio) Abel.

Farewell Tribute

Due to the current National Health Situation; Loretta's family has requested that her services be postponed until a later date when they will be able to celebrate her life fully. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in Loretta's name can be made to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital at stjude.org
