I have lovely memories of "Poppy." When he would come to NM to visit Nancy and the family, he would come for a long enough visit to make the travel worth it. In the time he would be there, he invested in the church family and in friends and found himself a home in our hearts! Poppy would become an unofficial greeter at church (Covenant of Grace), greeting and visiting with as many people as he could. He always welcomed a good hug with a smile and sometimes a chuckle. I enjoyed his gentle spirit and easy-going ways. I appreciated that he enjoyed being with family and friends and easily extended his circle of both to include many. I'm so thankful that his eyes are seeing Jesus.
