Jim I'm honored and blessed to have called you friend. I will always remember you and all the Red Eye gang. I know that Mike had a special place in his heart for you. You almost shared a birthday! Anita and family and Redeye Brothers and Families,
Our Brother in Arms has gone home...at last he is resting, looking over Anita and the children and holding us, his brothers and those Redeye Brethren that proceeded him to a higher calling!
Jim and I went thru some harrowing experiences, going airborne in HQ 153 and trailer and setting down in a German farmers freshly plowed potato field; putting out a jeep fire at Hohenfels, Dacey and Decker had gotten stuck in a tank ditch, had hot wired the heater and had a leaking fuel pump...boom!
The Whitehorse Bar, lol where Jim found trouble spelled with a capital "A" and was never so happy!
We are family, in such an amazing way...our own Band of Brothers, REDEYE STRONG!
To have served with Jim, and all of you is such an honor! Jim continued to serve as a State Trooper, lol, only Fellon could be looking for "felons" the way he did!
Anita and children, the only regret I have is not being able to there with you because of this craziness we are all dealing with.
Be assured, Jim is and always will be there with you and with US from his new vantage point!
God bless you and please accept my heartfelt and deep condolences!

Jim the RedEye Band of Brothers will never forget you. You made us all laugh when you laughed. And when we went into Bamberg to have a beer of two or 6. So sorry to have a friend leave us. I served with Jim in Germany, and attended his wedding there to Anita. We have been REDEYE friends since then.
