Obituary of Russell A. Nicosia
Russell A. Nicosia, a resident of Franklinville, New Jersey for over 30 years, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2020. He was 63.
Legacy
Russell, or Tony as he was referred to by many, will be remembered most for his dedication and hardworking ways. His heart and soul was in Philadelphia, where he was born and raised. He would often be found at the Berlin Auction on weekends selling indoor and outdoor home appliances. Russell took pleasure in spending time in Fortescue at the Delaware Bay where he would fish, crab and smoke cigars. Spending hours during the night doing home projects was Russell's idea of relaxing and keeping busy. Being outside was his favorite place to be, whether it was at the shore during the summer, spending time with his family having cook outs, or taking time to clean and shine his Ford F150. Russell frequently stopped at City Pizza in South Philly on Front St. for fresh rolls and pizza. They will surely miss his presence there.
Russell was a quiet man but he was also known for being a jokester. His family, extended family and friends will miss him. Especially his grandchildren. Russell loved to spoil them with chocolate, sour candies and toys.
