Obituary of William B. Lloyd

William B. Lloyd "Bill, 73, of Glassboro, New Jersey, passed away after a courageous battle with leukemia on Monday, June 1, 2020.

 

Legacy

A loving and happy gentleman, Bill was devoted and protective of his family.  He had a wonderful quick wit about him tinted with a bit of sarcasm that family and friends will miss greatly.  A dependable man, Bill was always willing to lend a hand to his family and friends. You could always depend on him to be there for you when he was needed.  He made friends easily and had an inquisitive nature about him.  Time with his family was cherished, especially with his grandsons, Jake and Luke.  Bill loved classic cars, but was most fond of his 1963 Yellow Grand Prix.

 

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Bill lived in Glassboro since 1987.  He was a graduate of Glassboro State College, where he received a Masters Degree in Education.  He was an automotive instructor for a local vocational school before becoming a District Service Manager for Ford and most recently, Mitsubishi in Bridgeport, NJ. 

 

Family

Beloved husband of Jo Ann (nee Vannozzi); devoted father of Gina Neimeister and the late Corinne; cherished grandfather of Jake and Luke; dear brother of Jean Tartaglia, Joan Cramer and Geri Garafalo.  Bill is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and dear friends.

 

Farewell Tribute

Due to the National Health Crisis, services for Bill will be held privately.  A public Celbration of Bill's Life, will be announced at a later date.
