Obituary of Amedeo Salamoni

Amedeo A. Salamoni, 78, of Turnersville, New Jersey, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2020. 
 
Legacy
Amedeo (Butch) was born in Newark, NJ, where his parents raised him and his brother, Salvatore. He was married to the love of his life, Antoinette, for 52 years. Together they raised three sons in Belleville, NJ. Along with his family, he was faithfully devoted to God. You could always find him reading his Bible and a variety of Christian literature. He also enjoyed leading his sons in The Christian Service Brigade. He was so proud when he became a Pop-Pop to his 5 wonderful grandchildren. One of the many things he often shared with them was his love for fitness and exercise. You could find him in his gym, in the garage or running at the park, which he absolutely enjoyed. Even as his Parkinsons progressed, he never stopped moving or joking with the nurses that he would sprint down the hall. He never quit, even during difficult times. He will truly be missed by his family and friends, but we know he is happy to be back in his loving wife’s arms.

Family
He is the beloved husband of the late Antoinette Salamoni. Devoted father of Frank P. Salamoni, Amedeo M Salamoni (Diane) and Anthony Salamoni (Gail).  Treasured grandfather of Ian, Michael, Marissa, Michelle and Jeffrey. Son of the late Marie Cataldo and Vincent Salamoni.  Dear brother of Salvatore Salamoni.   He will be missed by many friends and family.
