Hi All,
I just received the notice in the mail, and I thank you, Linda for remembering me.
The friendship that Duke and I shared was a very special one, as you Jersey Folk know.
We met at the Cabot Creamery, in the Visitor Center, many years ago, where I was a member of the staff.
Because of my Jersey connection, we became closer and, as the years went by, like Family.
Duke brought me peaches, tomatoes, corn (I think!) and other veggies and fruits throughout
the seasons. Many of you received gifts from Cabot, which I had a hand in!
"Uncle" Duke was a welcome guest in the Visitor Center and I knew that when I retired,
I would lose one of my favorite "regulars".
There aren't enough words in this language to describe the measure of this wonderful man.
His kindness, generosity and playfulness have never gone and will never go unremembered.
I certainly believe in life after life, and I know, without a doubt that my
folks, and my little brother are hanging out with him in Heaven.
