A lovely description of a lovely individual. I am glad that I had the opportunity to meet Jackie on several occasions. We talked during our trip to the Annual Conference; she and her husband joined us for lunch. They were pleasant additions to our lunch gathering. I found Jackie to be warm and friendly. She was easy to talk to and she seemed genuinely interested in what you had to say. I shall always remember her beautiful personality and her gentle demeanor. To her family I say that your loss is heaven's gain. I am sure that she was a blessing to everyone who knew her. May God bless, comfort, and keep you all safe in His tender loving care. My sincere condolences to the Phillips and Stanley families. I grew up with Jackie in Hammond Heights. I remember Harland picking Jackie up in his purple Duster (cool car in the 70's). I had the honor of being in their wedding. Two young people who loved each other and their family for 47 years. Jackie had a beautiful and kind spirit. She will be truly missed.
