Obituary of Gene S. Bialecki

Gene S. Bialecki, 78, of Sewell, New Jersey, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2020, surrounded by his loving children.

Legacy

A fun loving, outgoing fellow, Gene lived life to the fullest. He was devoted to his late wife Joanne of 56 years and loyal to his family. There was nothing more important than spending time with them. Gene was the life of the party and enjoyed being the party prankster. He was a gentle giant and a straight shooter; if he had something to say to you, Gene would let you know. Gene enjoyed playing pool and pinochle, bowling and watching Philadelphia sports, especially the Phillies.

Born in Kolkhagen, Germany, Gene came to the United States in 1951 and was a resident of Sewell since 1978. Prior to retirement, Gene worked for Mars Graphics, Edinburg Press, and then became a self-employed printer. After retirement, Gene was a park ranger for a time and also a bus driver for the seniors in Washington Township.

Family

Devoted husband of the late Joanne M. (nee Walz); loving father of David Bialecki, Janine Bialecki DiCarlo, Christopher (Kim) and Michael (Bridget) Bialecki; devoted PopPop of Alexis DiCarlo, Nathaniel, Mia and Blake Bialecki; dear brother of Sister Leonora, Bernie Bialecki, Wiesia Wootten and the late Mary Walsh. Gene is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Gene's visitation on Saturday, July 18, 2020, 8:00 - 9:45 AM at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, NJ  08080, where CDC and State of New Jersey guidelines are in effect. Masks or face coverings will be required and we are able to invite up to 100 people into the building for this gathering. 

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM in the Church of Saints Peter and Paul, 362 Ganttown Road, Sewell, NJ.  Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Sewell, NJ

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Gene's name to Samaritan Healthcare and Hospice, 3906 Church Road, Mount Laurel, NJ  08054.
