Obituary of Benedict J Lucidi

Benedict J. Lucidi, 71, of Oak Valley, New Jersey, passed away peacefully with his family on Saturday, June 20, 2020. 

Legacy

Born in Philadelphia, PA and raised his family in Oak Valley, NJ.  He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, son and uncle.  Benedict loved to be around his family especially his grandchildren.  He enjoyed fishing and gardening.  A member of the Gloucester County Certified Garden Club.  He really enjoyed his lunches with his friends. 

Family

He is the beloved husband of 48 wonderful years to Linda Lucidi (nee Salber).  Devoted father of Christie (David) and Michael (Lisa).  Treasured grandfather of Ethan, Nicholas, Taylor and Morgan.  Son of Antoinette and the late Gino Lucidi.  Dear brother of Lucille (Richard), the late Joseph (Mary), the late Gina and the late Louise.  Cherished Uncle of Joseph and Maria.  He will be missed by many friends and family.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Tuesday, June 30th from 9:00AM to 11:00AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter St, Woodbury, NJ 08096.  Funeral Mass at 12:00PM in Infant Jesus Parish-St. Margaret's Church, 3rd & Beech St., Woodbury Hgts, NJ.  Mass will be limited to 100 people in attendances and face masks must be worn and social distancing will apply. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Children’s Hospital Foundation-www.chopedu./giftofchildhood.com or University of Penn Mesothelioma Department - uphsgift@upenn.edu.
