Spent the better part of 15 years running around with Ronald from ice rink to ice rink. As an official Ron was always handed the most difficult games because of his capability and professionalism. It was a pleasure to step on the ice with him for I knew he had my back and we were not going to let things get out of control. He was a mountain of a man and all others stood in his shadows on the ice. He was always positive and always had a smile on his face. Rest in Peace my friend.

I had the pleasure of knowing Ron from Holy Innocents first grade 1970 through North Catholic senior year 1982 as well as around the beautiful neighborhood of Juniata Park... playing ball at TransCon or the park...and although our paths diverged at that point I was fortunate to cross paths with him and Tabbie over the years. As many have said Ron was passionate about life and being positive. Traits all of us can admire.
Be at peace, you have won by defeating death and I pray for your eternal life. Keep a look out for us down here as we pray for a Trump re-election!

Ron will be sincerely missed. He was always polite and genuine and a great guy. We often spoke about our daughter’s lives and success. We shared many moments how proud we both were about our children’s accomplishments. He will sorely be missed. Deb Dougherty.

Cousins are our first best friends. Ron was a great cousin, he always had us laughing. Who else but Ron would think to scotch tape a Knick knack that we broke at our aunt’s house so we would not get in trouble at that time.
His positivity, his resilience and stamina was remarkable. His smile made me want to smile. He has now joined so many family members. It’s just difficult to believe that Ron is no longer with us.
Heartfelt sympathy is extended to my cousins, Tabbie, Alissa, Kristen and Lauren. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Until we meet again, Ron! Love your Cousin, Elaine

I am heart broken over losing my brother in law Ron.
He was more of a brother to me and my family and watching Jaws will never be the same again. He was the best DJ at our family parties, and we will miss the Sunday nights listening to butter on 105.3.
Love you Uncle Ron! Love, Aunt Chrissy -AC

No words can express my sorrow for you Tab and the girls....We shared so much together through the years... You were always there to hold my hand as my big brother... one of my favorite memories is when you taught me how to drive, dad couldn't take me anymore and you had the patience of a saint...you took me for my driving test; the line was long and you said to me, you better pass cause I'm not taking you again...lol. You were an inspiration to all - never stopped fighting; Eye of the Tiger, No Quit, Mr. Positive; as I am the total opposite of you... I will do my best to channel your optimism and positivity and carry on your spirit. You showed us all to not look back, look for the good in everything and love life :)
Love you brother... until we meet again.

We all lost an amazing man who will be missed by many. For me he was the one of the most influential people in my life, someone I looked up to. He was always willing to help and encourage me to reach my goals. Always so positive and looking at the bright side of things, even when things were rough. That’s a quality that’s very hard to come by. This man was not only my uncle by my friend. If it wasn’t for my uncle Ron I wouldn’t be where I am today. Also I would have no idea about saxx underwear and the comfort they bring or Stella Artois and how to drink a beer. He will be missed dearly. We all love you.
