Obituary of Gianmarco Pastore

Gianmarco Pastore, of Glassboro, New Jersey, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2020.  He was 71.
 
Legacy
Gianmarco was born in Bari ,Italy to Francesco and Marcella Pastore.  Early in life, Gian and his family immigrated to the United States and settled in Hammonton, NJ .  A very intelligent boy, Gian excelled in school.  Later in life, Gian returned to Italy where he taught the English language and made lasting friendships.  He returned to the United States after several years and began working for the Social Security Administration as a Claims Representative and concurrently was the President of the local Union where he fought tirelessly for the rights of the employees.  Gian was well respected by friends and peers.  

Away from work, Gian enjoyed soccer and Philadelphia sports, especially the Phillies and Eagles.  Tour de France was an event he looked forward to every year.  Gian loved to laugh and he loved making others laugh with his quick wit and jokes.  
 
Family
He is the beloved husband of Carmella; devoted father of Jenna Pastore; dear brother of Angelo Pastore (Sandy) and Enzo Pastore; cherished uncle to Lisa and Daniella.
 
Farewell Tribute
Funeral Service for Gianmarco will be held privately for his immediate family.
