Obituary of Sandra Lee Young

Sandra Young (nee Batten), 75, of Mantua, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 13, 2020. 

Legacy

Sandra was born in Camden, NJ, raised her family in Westville and Elmer, NJ, retired in sunny Florida  and resided her final year in Mantua, NJ.  She enjoyed many hobbies especially kayaking, sailing, camping, skiing and socializing with her family and friends.

Family

She is the beloved wife of the late John D. Young for 54 years. Devoted mother of John Young (Lisa), Kevin Young (Cheryl), Richard Young (Margaret), and Tina Young. Treasured  grandmother of Ashley, Sarah, Matthew, Lauren, Lanie, and Lindsie.  Adored great grandmother of Leah.  Predeceased by her parents Elizabeth and Harry Batten and siblings James (Bonnie) and Gaye.  She will be missed by many friends and family.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Monday, July 20th, 2020 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter St., Woodbury, NJ 08096.  Funeral Service at 12:00PM.  Interment Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown, NJ 08094.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society-www.cancer.org or St. John of God Community Service, 1145 Delsea Dr., Westville, NJ 08093-www.sjogcs.org.
