Obituary of Letitia R Hampton
Letitia R. Hampton (nee Harlfinger), of Mullica Hill and West Deptford, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 5, 2020.
Legacy
Letitia was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She graduated from West Catholic Girls High School in Philadelphia Class of 1948. During her high school years she played 2nd Bass for the Philadelphia Women's Symphony Orchestra. She worked for PSE&G Co. as the Southern Division Claim Secretary for many years. She taught CCD at St. Peter Celestine Church in Cherry Hill. At her retirement, she helped open APC Flooring with her son-in-law Al in 1989.
Family
She is the beloved wife of the late Stewart I. Hampton. Devoted mother of Patricia (Albert) Chorzelewski and Kathleen (Kevin) Chorzelewski. Dear Sister of Richard (Pat) Harlfinger, James (Diana) Harlfinger and the late Howard Horner. Adored grandmother of Jeffrey (Dawn), Stephanie and Justin. Treasured great grandmother of Katarina and Cambrianna. Step-mother of Kathleen Fitzgerald, David (Jackie) Hampton, Sr., Debora Hampton and step-grandmother of David Jr. (Suzanne), Christy (Steve) and David (Dana). She will be missed by many family and friends.
Farewell Tribute
Friends and family are invited to her viewing on Wednesday, August 12th from 8:30am to 10:00AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ 08096. Funeral Mass at 11:00AM in the Church of the Incarnation, 240 Main Street, Mantua, NJ 08051. Interment at Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ.
