Obituary of Teresita Dy

Teresita Dy (Tanag), 80, of Sewell, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 9, 2020.

Legacy

She was born and raised in Cavite City, Philippines and immigrated to the United States about 40 years ago, where she raised her loving family.

Amah, as she was affectionately known, had an infectious smile.  She loved talking to everyone and was the true definition of a social butterfly.  She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.

Family

She is survived by her husband Jorge Dy and is the loving mother of Ma Theresa Dy, Jerusha Glavez & Karl Dy. Loving grandmother of Daphne Galvez, Dennis Galvez, Marc Dy, K.D. Dy & Krstoff Dy; great grandmother of April & Amelia Palao. She also leaves behind her cherished sisters, Angelina Almayda, Perla Frilles, Belinda Tiambeng and Olga Gaufo.

Farewell Tribute

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2020 from 6-8 PM at the McGuinness Funeral Home 573 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, NJ  08080.  Funeral Service will begin at 8 PM.  Cremation is private.
