Obituary of Judy Szatkowski

Judith A. Szatkowski, (nee Ruff) of Deptford, New Jersey, passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 9, 2020.  She was 80.
 
Legacy
Judy will be fondly remembered as a selfless, caring and loving woman who was also witty while maintaining grace and class. Judy's greatest joy was her children and grandchildren and spending summers at her happy place, down the shore.

Judy, along with her husband Hank, owned and operated Hank's Bar & Grill in Camden for more than 50 years where countless memories were made and friendships were fostered.
 
After retirement, Judy enjoyed cooking and baking, especially chocolate covered pretzels in every color for every occasion. Most of all, Judy enjoyed gatherings with her family creating memories that they will cherish as her legacy.

Family
Judy is the beloved wife of the late Hank Szatkowski; loving mother of Cheryl (David) Pierce, Michael (Shirley) Szatkowski, Vicki ( Tom Kelly) Szatkowski, Judith (Genuan) Gunawardhana & Michelle (Jeffrey) Zimmer; dear sister of the late Joseph Jr. & Ronald Ruff; cherished grandmother of Nicole, Heather, Victoria, Natalie, Thomas "TJ", Lauren, Dylan, Tyler and the late Michael, Stacy & Julie; great grandmother of 8. 
 
Farewell Tribute
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Sunday, August 16, 2020 after 1 PM in the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ where her Share Life Ceremony will follow at 3 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Army~Navy Garrison of National Park, 26 Riverview Avenue, National Park, NJ 08063.
