Obituary of Josephine E. Del Tito

Josephine E. Del Tito, of Glen Mills, Pennsylvania, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2020.  She was 94.

 Legacy

Josephine was born and raised in Philadelphia PA.  She met her husband, Joseph, while attending a dance.  They married and raised their family in Philadelphia before moving to New Jersey.  Josephine worked as a bookkeeper for the Federal Reserve in Philadelphia for 20 years before retiring. 

Josephine enjoyed the company of others, especially her children and grandchildren.  She loved to have a good time, whether she was dancing, playing BINGO or card games.  She was very active within her community as a member of the entertainment committee and the Italian Social Club. 

 Family

She is the daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa (nee Demedio) Apilungo; beloved Wife of the late Joseph Del Tito; devoted mother to Joseph M. Del Tito (Ruth Ann) of Glassboro, NJ, Sally Speelman (Thomas) of Titusville, NJ, Janet Yeager (Larry) of Thorndale, PA and Jackie Traino (Frank) of Avondale, PA; dear sister to Rose Borton, the late Antonette Loftus and the late Mary Katrakazis; loving grandmother to Scott, Lauren, Jessica, Alyssa (Sean), Eric (Jennie), Jillian (Tom), Justin and Lindsay; cherished great grandmom to Blake.  Josephine is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. 

 Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 10:00AM until the Funeral Ceremony at 11:00AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home - Woodbury, 34 Hunter Street.  Josephine will be laid to rest with her husband at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chews Landing.
