Obituary of John E. Finn

John E. Finn, of Calabash, North Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2020.  He was 73.

Legacy

John was born and raised in Philadelphia and a graduate of Father Judge High School in 1965.  After graduation, John enlisted in the United State Army serving during the Vietnam War.  John was a steamfitter by trade with the Local Union 420 in Philadelphia.  He and his wife, Marlene, resided in Philadelphia until they moved to Washington Township in 1993. In search for warmer weather, they moved to Calabash, North Carolina in 2016. 

Family

John is the beloved husband of 54 years to Marlene (nee Zysk) Finn; devoted father of to John Finn, Cheryl Finn and Patrick Finn; loving grandfather to Christopher, Shannon, Carly, Colin and Madeline.  He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.  John is predeceased by his parents John and Rose (nee Waters) Finn and sisters Rosemary Troy and Joan Konkel. 

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 from 1:00 to 3:00PM in the McGuinness Funeral Home - Washington Township, 573 Egg Harbor Road. A Memorial Service and Military Honors will being at 3:00PM in the funeral home.
