Obituary of Carl Hinton

Our beloved Carl was born May 31, 1954 to the late Brightus Hinton/Gordon and late Cyrus Gordon.  He was the second oldest of his siblings.  He departed life due to a heart attack.  The Lord called Carl home on May 7, 2020 at the age of 65.

Carl attended the public school of Philadelphia, PA, graduating from Simon Gratz High School.  He joined the Army after graduating from high school during the Vietnam War.  He was badly injured and couldnt walk for several years.  He loved cars and wanted to be a mechanic but couldnt because of his injuries. 

Carl was a very kind person.  As a kid growing up he worked at the supermarket.  When he got paid, he would give some of his money to his mother to help out the family.  He loved his uncles and aunts.  He always said good things about them.  He loved his family and friends. If anybody needed help, he would give it.  He was always happy and believed that only good things will happen.  He was an angel.

He leaves to cherish precious memories 10 siblings; Donald, Charles, Kim, Juliet, Ellen, Cyrus, Rochelle, Robert, Lynn and Walter; sister/brother in laws Tina, Larry and Scott; many nephews, nieces, cousins and a host of other relatives and close friends.
