Obituary of William J. Tenerelli, Sr.
Dr. William J. Tenerelli, Sr., 86, of Deptford, New Jersey, passed away on November 17, 2020, surrounded by his loving family.
Legacy
Born in Camden, New Jersey, William attended LaSalle University and was a graduate of Seton Hall College of Medicine and Dentistry. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force where he served from 1961-1963. William married the love of his life and "first mate", Roseanne in 1958 and they lovingly raised a family of 8 in Deptford. The family were long time parishioners of St. John Vianney RC Church of Infant Jesus Parish. William was a hard worker and practiced dentistry in his office, William J. Tenerrelli, Sr. DDS, in Bellmawr for 47 years and retired at the age of 71.
A kind and true gentleman, William was, simply put...a class act. After 62 years of marriage, William and Roseanne were still the best of friends and still so in love. Nothing was more important than time spent with his family. William's passion besides his family was boating. This love was started at the age of 9 when he got his first boat and would spend time with his parents in Brigantine. William's whole family have cherished memories of their family home, William's "happy place", in Port Charlotte, Florida where they would spend time together boating and fishing. After retiring, William and Roseanne spent 8 - 10 months of the year in their happy place. they became certified SCUBA divers and explored the coast of Florida and the Cayman Islands. William also enjoyed golf and tinkering, building custom fishing rods.
