John was my Boss when I worked at Deptford Board of Education in 1978 while I was still in High School and also at Collingswood Board of Education. He was a great boss and fun to work with. So sorry to hear of his passing.

John was one of my customers everyday. He and his wife became my family. I always looked forward to him walking in and smiling. Their will never be a day I wont think of you. I know you'll always be with us regardless if your gone.. Please watch over Marilyn shes gonna miss you... I love ya..ALWAYS... Stay smiling!! Im gonna light a desert candle for you.. Its got cherries on it... And I know how much you love your cherrie pie...

We became friends with John and Marilyn because we would see them regularly at the Seven Stars diner. We would talk to them and John was always smiling. Since the COVID 19, we didn’t see them but were always asking after them. I am so sorry to hear that John passed. He was a good guy and Marilyn I know you will miss him. Sending our thoughts, prayers and sympathies to your family. RIP John Heck. Ray and Michele Burger
