Obituary of Kelly Vanaman

Kelly Elizabeth Vanaman,(nee Mihalic) of Frederick, Maryland, passed away tragically on Tuesday, December 8, 2020.  She was 34 years old.

 Legacy

 Kelly was born and raised in Washington Twp.and graduated from Washington Twp. High School in 2004. She earned her Bachelor's & Master's Degrees from Farleigh Dickinson College and worked as an Administrative Assistant for Frederick County in Maryland.

 Kelly's love story began in 2012 when she connected with Joseph Vanaman through social media. After countless virtual conversations while Joe was stationed in California, Kelly and Joseph had their first date in San Francisco. From that point forward, it was true love. They shared 7 years of marriage and were blessed with their daughter, Cameron Joyce.

 Kelly will be fondly remembered for her outgoing and loving personality. She had a heart of gold and would go to the ends of the earth for anyone in need. Kelly had a strong faith in God and prayed daily. Her greatest passion in life was her family. Kelly filled her days visiting local parks with Cameron, Joe, and their 2 dachshunds, Larry and Gus. The National Zoo in D.C. was their favorite. She always looked forward to vacationing with family, especially at the beach. She also loved baking, immersing herself in a good book or movie, and shopping. Most of all, Kelly created everlasting memories with her family that they will cherish as her legacy.

 Family

 Kelly is the beloved wife of 7 years to Joseph R. Vanaman; loving Mama to Cameron Joyce; cherished daughter of Thomas M. & Patricia (nee Kelly) Mihalic; dear sister of Thomas J. Mihalic and his fiancé Michelle Summers; loving daughter in law of Robert & Theresa ( nee Iannelli) Vanaman and sister in law of Matthew Vanaman and his wife, Christyn and Lori Penderleith and her husband, Ryan. Kelly is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

 Farewell Tribute

 Relatives and friends are invited to attend Kelly's visitation after 8:00 AM, Wednesday in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Washington Twp., (Sewell). Her Funeral Mass will follow at 11 AM in the Church of the Holy Family, 226 Hurffville Road, Washington Twp. Interment Private. Due to the current National Health Crisis, the capacity for her celebration will be limited to 125 in attendance.
