He was of the most positive man I know. His outlook in life was amazing. I learned so much from him. I so enjoyed the time I got to spend with him. Our Christmas Eve dinners were the best. So glad for all the memories. He will be surly missed but I know he will be watching over all of us. God Bless Karen and the kids. Prayers for the family

I loved teaching with Ernie at Rice School. . He was always so positive. We enjoyed friendly trash talks about my Eagles and his Giants. He will be missed at our Retired Teacher's lunches. Prayers for his family. Linda Marple

This is truly a shock to the system. Julie and I were childhood friends and played sports together. I remember playing soccer as a goalie and hearing Mr. Kowalski yelling, "YEAH SYD!" from the sideline every time is had a save. Even when I went to GCIT and played against Gateway in field hockey, I still heard him cheer my name once in a while. His voice cheering me on always gave me that second wind I needed to get to that final whistle. The Kowalski family has always been wonderful to me and will always hold a special place in my heart. I will always have love for them. I am so sorry for this loss.
