Obituary of Doris M Zane

Doris Mae (Dee) Zane (nee White) of West Deptford passed away peacefully at home on December 14, 2020, age 87.

Family

Beloved wife of the late Ernest (Bud) Zane of West Deptford and companion of the late George Brooks of Pitman, NJ. Dee was a devoted mother to Debra Yuritch (Michael),

Jacqueline Castaldi, and Denise Occhuzzo (Joseph). Beloved Grandmother of Jessica Yuritch (Joel), Elizabeth Turowski (David), Alexander Castaldi, and Joseph Occhuzzo Jr. (Brittany). Proud Great Grandmother of Megan Zimmerman, John and Benjamin Turowski, and

Myla, Michaela, Milania, and Joseph Occhuzzo III. Loving daughter of the late Margaret (Peg) White (nee Nolan) of West Deptford. Dear sister of the late Joan Witz (nee White), the late William (Bill) White, Carol Bauer (nee White), and Laraine Mitchell. Dee is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Legacy

Dee was an active member of the Colonial Manor Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She and Bud loved music, dancing, spending time with family and friends, especially the Firehouse "Gang". Dee and Bud loved to travel the U.S., especially to the Grand Canyon and Alaska. They loved boating and fishing the Delaware Bay with brother Captain Bill White, and of course the Jersey Shore. Dee lived a very full life and never wasted a minute of it.

Farewell Tribute

There will be a private viewing for Dee along with a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Angels Parish at Saint Patrick's Church, 86 Cooper St., Woodbury, NJ. Dee will be laid to rest beside her husband Bud at New Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ.
