Obituary of Alice M. Green

Alice  Marie Green (nee Dougherty), 81, of Woodbury Heights and Mantua, NJ, passed away peacefully with her family on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. 

 Legacy

She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend.  She was our rock and enjoyed every minute with her family.  Alice took pride in being the Matriarch of the Green family.  She was an amazing person, guiding us with her strength and positive outlook.  Always encouraging us to do the right thing.  She enjoyed reading and exercising with her friends.  Alice felt blessed and grateful for every aspect of her life.

 Family

She is the beloved wife of 48 years wonderful years to the late A. James Green.  Devoted mother of Denise G. Vereneault (Joe), the late Deborah Breen, Jim Green (Audrey), Diane Brake (the late Dale), Al Green (Jean), and the late Tommy Green.  Treasured grandmother of Casey Marie, Conor, Molly, Jason (Sarah), Heather, Chris (Courtney), Zachary, Shawn, Jerry, Allie, Samantha, and Sophia.  Adored great grandmother of Landen, Lucas, and Izzy.  Daughter of the late Alice and Henry Dougherty.  She will be missed by family and friends.

 Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Thursday, January 28th from 5:00PM to 8:00PM and Friday, January 29th from 8:00AM to 9:00AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home - Woodbury, 34 Hunter Street. With a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM in the Infant Jesus Parish at St. Margaret's Church, 3rd & Beech Street, Woodbury Heights, NJ 08097.  Interment at Wenonah Cemetery Wenonah, NJ.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Alice’s memory to; South Jersey Dream Center, P.O.
