Mary Milich

Obituary of Mary Jane Milich

Mary Jane (McNabb) Milich of Sewell, NJ died from complications of Covid-19 on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021 at Inspira Hospital in Mullica Hill, NJ.

Legacy
Born on June 24, 1933 in Los Angeles, CA, she is predeceased by her beloved husband John (Miller) Milich and her cherished daughter, Tracey Lynn.

Mary Jane retired in 1989 after a long and distinguished career with Corning/Owen-Illinois/Anchor Hocking. She also was an accomplished pianist, having performed at the famed Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles in the early 1950s. Her hair always perfectly coiffed and a fashion icon, Mary was way ahead of the game when it came to mastering the latest in technology or trying out a new gadget in her home.

Lovingly referred to by members of her extended Milich family and many friends as a fun loving “party girl,” Mary reigned elegantly over the many swim parties, holiday celebrations and family dinners she and her late husband hosted regularly at their lovely homes in Woodbury and Sewell.

An avid traveler, Mary, joined by her husband and daughter, greatly enjoyed her retirement years, visiting many countries around the world.

Family
Left to mourn her passing is her dear niece, Lisa Ciliberto and her husband John and children John Paul “JP” and Clare of Woodwich, NJ, who devotedly cared and watched over “Aunt Mary” in her final years. She also is survived by a brother-in-law Thomas Milich and sisters-in-law Mira Milich and Arlene Milich, all of Medford, NJ and Pat Milich of Goodyear, AZ; nieces Carol Milich, Cathy Johnson, Terri Gilbride, Mary Meehan and Anne Stagliano; nephews Daniel, Michael, Gregory and Peter Milich; eight additional grand nieces and nephews and one great grandnephew.

In addition to Miller and Tracey, Mary is predeceased by her mother Verda Ihman McNaab, her father Aaron Stephens McNabb and brother Jerry McNabb; her mother and father-in-law, Sophie “Gram” and Draga Milich, brothers-in-law Benjamin, Samuel and Stephen Milich, sister-in-law Althea Milich and niece Donna Milich.
