Tina and I became friends as kindergartners on our bus route. She introduced me to the movie Selena, which is still one of my favorites. She thought it was so funny when Selena’s husband burnt his mouth putting too much hot sauce on his pizza. We did drama club together, and I still remember when we did Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, one of Tina’s lines was “I feel peculiar”, and she had a hard time pronouncing peculiar, so the teacher in charge had her change the line to “I feel strange”. During our elementary days she wanted to be an actress. We grew apart after elementary and our bus routes changed, but would randomly bond over country music here and there. Tina was such a great girl and I’m so sad over this loss but am encouraged knowing she is with our Lord, Jesus, in Heaven. RIP, Teen ♥️
