Obituary of Carl F. Millington
Carl F. Millington, 59, of Woodbury Heights, New Jersey passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2021.
Legacy
Carl was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Carl enjoyed sports and was a big Philadelphia fan. He wore their logo even when they played lousy. He also enjoyed watching WWE. His love of wrestling started as a young boy hanging out in the alley behind the CYO in Trenton with his brother John watching the professional wrestlers arrive for their matches. He was the 7th of 8 children and learned the value of hard work and family.
Born and raised in Trenton NJ he graduated from Trenton High. At the tender age of 20 he started his employment with Bostik Findley where he retired from 40 years later. In 2000 he and his family moved to Woodbury Hts where he spent the remainder of his life.
Carl enjoyed simple pleasures. Pizza and a cold beer in the comfort of his home was a favorite. You could often find him out on his deck or in his pool enjoying the life his hard work earned him. Another favorite pastime was having company over and cooking for them, always making more food than necessary. Because of this Italian heritage no gathering was complete without his famous meatballs and sausage. Sadly, he took his recipe with him.
Family
He is the beloved husband of Sandra Millington (nee Weinhofer). Devoted father of Jessica and Matthew (Bridget).
Treasured grandfather of Charlie. Son of the late Catherine and George Millington. Dear brother of Kathy, Pat, John, Anna, and predeceased by George, Louis, and Phyllis. He will be missed by 16 nieces and nephews, 17 great nieces and nephews, family and friends.
