Obituary of James K. Gearhart

James K. Gearhart, 90, of West Deptford, New Jersey, passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021.
 
Legacy
Born and raised in Runnemede, New Jersey,  Jim was a resident of West Deptford for 56 years.  He was a proud United States Army Veteran serving from 1951 to 1953.  Prior to retiring in 1991, Jim was a Senior Lab Technician at Mobil Oil Research and Development in Paulsboro.  

A strong, loving an patient man, Jim was devoted to his family.  He always put others needs before his own.  Jim was an incredibly handy man and could fix anything.  In his younger years, he enjoyed completing crossword puzzles, bowling and golfing.  Jim was also good with numbers and a huge Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan.

Beloved Husband of 65 years to Mary L. (nee Cipoletti); devoted father of Thomas Gearhart (Bernadette); and the late Janet Walker; loving grandfather of Arianna and Thomas, Jr.; dear brother of Thyra Hegeman.
 
Farewell Tribute
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Jim's visitation on Saturday, March 13, 2021, 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell,  NJ  08080, where the Memorial Ceremony will follow at 11:00 AM.  Interment and Military Honors at Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown, NJ.
