Uncle Jack was a private man but one thing everyone knows about him is he was a very peaceful and gentle man. My deepest condolences to Aunt Sally, Uncle Joe, and my mom, Nancy. Love and hugs to you all.

In the last couple of days, I have heard Jack described as a quiet, reserved man and while that may be true, I got to know another side of Jack. I worked in Philly and sometimes I would take the Gloucester City exit off the Walt Whitman Bridge to go home. Often, I would catch up to Jack at the Brooklawn circle or on Rte. 130. Jack gladly accepted a ride when offered and we would usually chat on the way home. I found Jack to be friendly, intelligent, humorous, and sometimes serious about national or international affairs. I miss those chats and I know his family and friends will miss Jack even more.
