Obituary of Marie Theresa Begnaud

Marie Theresa Begnaud (Leyendecker) of Glassboro and formerly of Haddonfield passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at the age of 83.

Legacy

Marie was a LPN and worked at the Memorial Hospital of Burlington for many years.  She loved traveling with friends and mostly enjoyed going on cruise vacations.   She truly lived life to its fullest from beginning to end and set an example for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.    After retiring from nursing she spent her time volunteering at Hope Group in Burlington, NJ, were she found gratitude in helping others.  Marie also was very active in the community and was always doing something and loved her Ladies of Lake Oberst Club activities. 

Marie loved sailing and traveling with her late partner  Robert "Bob" Montgomery, they shared many memories over the 25 years spent together.

She is the beloved Wife of the late Joseph Begnaud; devoted mother of Rebecca Bury (Jason), Jennifer Massaro (Michael) and John Bonini (Mary); loving grandmother of Jessica Bury, Christopher Bury, Matthew Bury, Nicole Witherel and John Bonini and great grandmother of Vincent Kinter; loving partner of 25 years to Robert "Bob" Montgomery.
 
Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, NJ, on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 from 8:30 to 10:15.  Funeral Mass will begin at 11 am at Mary Mother of Mercy at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 500 Greentree Road, Glassboro, NJ.  Interment will follow at the Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veteran's Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
